Mark has over thirty years of private equity experience investing in smaller-middle market companies in the UK, having worked for Banc Boston Capital since 1986 prior to co-founding Alcuin in 2007. Mark has been involved in many successful investments including Games Workshop, Eveden, Menzies Hotels and Adapt. Mark presently sits on the boards of Neville Johnson and Augentius FA and is a Trustee of the University of London.
Mark holds a BA Hons in History from Balliol College, Oxford and an MA from Birkbeck, University of London.
Grace has over twenty years of private equity experience investing in smaller-middle market companies in the UK, having previously worked for Banc Boston Capital and Baring Private Equity Partners since 1997, prior to co-founding Alcuin in 2007. Grace has been involved in many successful deals including Caffè Nero, Krispy Kreme, Glide Technologies and Agrivert, and presently sits on the board of Tasker and Clearwater Environmental.
Grace holds a BSc(Econ) in Economics from the London School of Economics.
Adrian has over twenty years of private equity and mezzanine experience, working with both UK and German smaller-middle market companies, having previously been at Indigo Capital LLP since 1997 prior to joining Alcuin in 2011. Adrian has been involved in many successful deals including Menzies Hotels, Sorex and Krispy Kreme and presently sits on the boards of AVMI, Domus, Salt Yard, Koh, The Groucho Club and ACS.
Adrian has a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Warwick.
Neil has over nine years of private equity experience and has been involved in deals including Agrivert, Glide Technologies and Adapt. He currently sits on the boards of Domus and Deluxe. Prior to joining Alcuin, Neil worked as a strategy consultant with Accenture and CSMG Adventis.
Neil has a M.Eng in Engineering from Pembroke College, Cambridge.
Nick has over eight years of private equity experience and has been involved in deals including TTA, CW Environmental and Osprey. He currently sits on the boards of Tasker, AVMI and Neville Johnson. Prior to joining Alcuin, Nick spent five years in corporate restructuring at KPMG.
Nick has a BA Hons in Economics & Management from Merton College, Oxford and is ACA qualified.
Graham has over seven years of private equity experience and has been involved in numerous deals including Krispy Kreme, Koh and Saltyard. He currently sits on the board of AMI and Clearwater Environmental. Prior to joining Alcuin, Graham spent five years in strategic and intelligence consulting with LEK and Hakluyt and Co.
Graham has a BA Hons and Msci in Natural Sciences from Pembroke College, Cambridge.
Guy joined Alcuin in 2014 having previously worked for Deloitte Consulting in their Strategy & Operations department and latterly for Goldman Sachs in their Principal Investment Area. Guy has been involved in several investments at Alcuin including The Groucho Club, Deluxe and Dovetail.
Guy holds a BA in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.
Haris joined Alcuin in 2015 having previously worked for Risk Capital Partners. He has been involved in numerous deals at Alcuin including ACS and Koh Thai.
Haris holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of Exeter.
Frances joined Alcuin in 2008 having previously worked for over twenty years as an accountant in the financial and media services sectors. She is responsible for the finance function at Alcuin.
Frances is an ACA and has a BA honours in Accountancy from Exeter University.
Andrea joined Alcuin in 2015 having previously gained over ten years’ experience in private equity, firstly as Finance Manager at Innisfree Limited and then as Financial Controller at Clearbell Capital LLP.
Andrea is an FCA and has a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics from the University of Warwick.
Jessica joined Alcuin in 2015 having previously gained over ten years’ experience as office manager & executive assistant within private equity.
Jessica has a MA Hons in Italian & Art History from the University of Edinburgh.
Vanessa has more than ten years’ experience in operations, having previously worked at JPMorgan, HSBC and Goldman Sachs.
Vanessa has a BA honours degree in Spanish and Italian from Exeter University.
